at least Adobe Reader 7, moneyplex, RealPlayer and Flash is available with SUSE Linux as well on the DVD and with the Addon-CD.
MediaWiki and Nagios are also at least included in the SUSE Linux release (while Nagios is no LAMP application at all <img src="/templates/default/img/emoticons/wink.png" alt=";-)" style="display: inline; vertical-align: bottom;" class="emoticon" />)
I must say that SuSE 10.1 has disappointed me a lot - compared to SuSE 10.0 that was perfect from my point of view. 10.1 was filled with annoying bugs.
Now I am a Linux Newbie myself and depend on the graphical environments. I chose SuSE as my Linux because of YaST2/KDE and the 'Online Update' functionality. Not all RPM related bugs have been fixed yet - refer to: http://en.opensuse.org/Bugs:Most_Annoying_Bugs .
I wrote a blogpost myself on my experience with 10.1: http://www.webyog.com/blogs/peterlaursen/index.php?showentry=55
